We welcome all parents and families who want to present their child for baptism in our parish. In general, parents should be registered parishioners, or have celebrated other sacraments at our parish in the past. If you live in the area and have not yet registered in the parish, we hope you will begin that simple process.
BAPTISM SCHEDULING
Baptisms are typically scheduled following the 9:30 AM Mass on each Sunday of the month. However, its important to verify your preferred date with the parish office, as adjustments to the schedule may occur to accommodate other parish events.
Mandatory Preparation Class: Parents and godparents are required to participate in a preparatory class at least one week before the sacrament.
Catholic Parentage: The child’s parents must be members of the Catholic faith.
Inter-Church Baptism: If the parents belong to a different church, a permission letter from their home parish is necessary.
Advance Registration: The child’s name must be registered at least 10 days prior to the baptismal ceremony.
Punctuality for the Ceremony: Parents and godparents should arrive 15 minutes before the baptism is scheduled to commence.
Please call or email the parish office with any questions you have about getting started with the process.
